fire rescue [station 15]

Opening July 1, 2013 Ivy Fire | Rescue, Station 15 will be a combination station of volunteer and career staff serving the greater Ivy area of Albemarle County. Applications for volunteers are being accepted at this time. In addition to the role of a responder, if you might be interested in serving in a support role on our advisory board or volunteer recruitment committee, we would welcome your application.

Station 15 will be located on Ivy Road between Northridge Medical Park and Volvo of Charlottesville with an advanced life support engine company of three. The primary response area will generally follow the boarders of 250/20 By-pass, Interstate 64, Owensville Rd and Garth Road. Mutual aid will provided to the City of Charlottesville and the adjoining stations within the county.
